James Lee Stanley Back in the Studio With John Batdorf

Hey kids, John and I have decided to do a sequel to our wildly successful CD, All Wood and Stones (www.allwoodandstones.com). We have sketched out all the songs, and have recorded most of the guitars and some of the vocals for it. It is sounding fantastic and somehow very different from our first endeavor, though it is still acoustic guitars and voices.

I have been playing around the country all summer and will continue to do so into the fall, doing solo dates, dates with John and dates back east with Cliff Eberhardt for our All Wood and Doors CD (www.allwoodanddoors.com)

And amazingly, I have had a rush of creativity regarding my own songwriting, having written and recordded some 16 new songs this year already. And as usual, they don’t sound like the other songs, and the CD doesn’t sound like the other CD’s. I like to do something different each time out. I hope that you don’t mind.

Please check the appearance calendar as often as you can so that we can connect if I am in your neighborhood.

And don’t forget to go to the fun stuff and put a pin in my map thing. It’s in fun stuff at the top of the page under the make your mark tag.
